Back in the late '70's when I was racing cat 3/4, I had a jersey I took to a
"T" shirt store to be emblazoned in reflective prismatic letters the phrase
"eat me" from the giant cake in "Animal House". While it did make me easier
to see at night, it also brought me no end of scorn from officials, team
directors, coaches and other riders. One team director told me it offended
the women on his team.
How times have changed!
