We converted a brand new bike still in the box from a triple to a double. Since we did that we have:
Ultegra Crankset 172.5 for $200
Ultegra Front Derailleur for $40
Ultegra Rear Derailleur for $70
Then we thought we would need new shift levers but the bike can with R700 shifters so we bought an extra set. If you are unfamiliar with the R700s they are awesome if your hands are normally sized or smaller.
