I've raced on them at Mac Court, Eugene, at a basketball 1/2
time...1975(?). Also at Ciclo Sport, Portland, late 80s. I'm not sure
if it's traditional, but we usually faced away from the display showing
respective progress of the blue and red rollers...bizarre, as the racers
rely only on all the surrounding yelling to know how they're doing!
Maybe that's done so they can just concentrate on whipping the rpm's out.
