Wow that sucks. Sorry to hear about your leg Johnny. This may be the only opportunity I get to stop eating doughnuts and putting on my winter survival food ring around my stomach, go out and overtrain this entire winter and try to get strong enough to not get lapped by you next year. Or then again, you'll probably lap me anyway.

Not seeing Johnny V on the mountain could be very strange indeed. Is it possible to keep him away for a whole season? Not hearing his usual greeting which I know him by will be very strange. I would almost be surprised if he didn't cover the cast with a plastic bag, ignore the doctors advice, and ski on one ski at least once this season?
