Except for the fact that I did not win anything and my wife caught a tail light that had all the clamps and batteries but no light in the box...Pretty funny.....
Great job to Brad and crew and it was fun being involved in series with the Hammer Nutrition tent up every weekend.....

Mucho thanks to Brad, Jon, Brian, Rick and crew for an absolutely awesome Cross Crusade series and an incredible year-end Cross Crusade Prom. I haven't seen the enthusiasm and fun spirit of the Cross Crusade series since the Windsurfing Pro Am and accompanying Pink Parties in Hood River in the late 1980's. After last night's fun, my 12 and 15 year old daughters, who seldom ride bikes, want to join their 9 year old brother and me to race cross next year!
For those of you who love bike racing and reminisce about the fun you had when you were younger, I urge you to get a cross bike so you can join us for the 2008 cross season. I never liked mud or understood the cyclocross fuss until I removed the fenders from my commuter and entered my first cross race in September. As Ron Strauser so aptly put it after winning the 55 + Masters at the US Grand Prix of Cyclocross, "It makes me feel like a kid again!"
