I trying to help out a friend to get his son a road bike for Christmas. I
think the budget is around $500. but we can be flexible for the right bike.
I'm thinking older aluminum bike like Cannondale, Klein or Trek. Maybe one
of those old carbon tube Allez Epics or the Giant equivalent. It won't be
raced so it doesn't have to have more than 7 speed rear end and it doesn't
have to be complete. It could be just a frame. If you have an old frame,
group, wheels, or bike that would be serviceable, let me know.
Size is about 59 - 62.
