The American Association of Cycling Team Doctors has just
announced their first annual meeting and opened it up to
interested members. The meeting will be held in
conjunction with the Tour of California in Palo Alto, just
before the Prologue.

The AACTD is an interdiciplinary collaboration of science
and health care professionals dedicated to the health of
cyclists. You don't have to be an MD to become a member.
It is headed by Dr. Prentice Steffen of
Slipstream/Chipotle and includes UCI Team MD's,
unaffiliated MD's as well as physiologists, physical
therapists, research assistants- basically anybody
interested in the health and care of cyclists, research
regarding cycling physiology or policy development. If you
