Hello All
Thanks for another great year.
Congrat's to all of you on another great year.
Just wanted to let you know that the overall top 3 winners should be posted at http://www.oregon-adventures.com some time next week. We have to triple check things.Just click on the SoBe series link...
I will have them posted as soon as I get them from Jon Myers who tracked the points and deserves a big THANKS!!.
I have been looking over the surveys you filled out and so far here are some things that stand out..that could be changed.
1. Sort the Experts from the Pro's better
2. Have Pro and Exp Jr's, Vet, Master and Women race a shorter course then Pro and Exp men. More then one person brought this up male and female.
3. Overall and each race results posted better and quicker( I admit I was gulity of that this year sorry)....We have decided to pay a person to do all this next year....so it should go better....Please remember that we do not control what is on the OBRA site, OBRA does.....the series results were at
www.oregon-adventures.com A big thanks to Cat Williams she is the one that set and updated all the results.
Changes for 2002 so far
Fees:
Jr's $10 NO LATE FEE (XC only)
Beginners $20 NO LATE (XC only)
Sport, Exp and Pro $25 and late fee is up to each race.
WE are going to try and have kids races at every race.
We are going to try and promote cycling at every High School in Oregon.
Some races are going to have a shorter first timers course to let people try out the sport.
