I like my Edge305 and use it a lot, but have decided to get a
Forerunner305 instead because the Forerunner is better for triathlon.
This is basically a new unit. Two weeks ago I sent my Edge305 to
Garmin for a minor repair, and they completely replaced it. I'm not
sure if the replacement is refurbished or new, but it looks new - no
scratches or vibible signs of use. I took it out for a couple rides
and the it works perfectly.
It came back from Garmin with:
+ original box/packaging
+ heart rate strap
+ 2 bike mounts
+ charger/data-download cables
+ software CD
+ manuals
- no cadence sensor - Sorry!
I'm seeing prices online for new Edge305 units around $220. How about $180?
