Winter glove maintenance

Any glove will perform better if washed when necessary in NikWax TechWash, then dried on the glove attachment to the Peets boot dryer, and treated with Nikwax Gloveproof as they dry.

I've missed most of the hard rain on my recent rides, so I can't vouch for how waterproof they are, but I'd say they are overkill for cross racing. At 40 degrees, they are warm while just riding at a easy aerobic pace, and a bit too warm for me when putting in any sort of hard efforts. For cross racing (unless it's below 40 degrees and really windy or something) they would be, I believe, too warm, and they dexterity isn't the best since the insulation is a bit thick. I highly recommend them though, for winter base training.
