As a reminder, the annual meeting/festival will be on Saturday. You
can also pay at the door ($20 per person). Please RSVP beforehand so
I can get a good estimate to provide to the folks at the location idea
on numbers. It's a totally relaxed atmosphere. 4 PM annual meeting
(board members and team representatives), 6 PM banquet and
presentations.
Neato things:
Mike Ripley in conjunction with a couple of folks (including Shane
Young and Dan Kaufman) have put together a fantastic video for the
meeting.
Chris Haverty has been kind enough to loan us a projector and screen
for our video! Thanks Chris!
David Aldersebaes will be MC'ing.
Mike (Laurelwood owner) has offered attendees a deal on Barley Wine-
normally $15, you can get it for $10 per bottle. - "This strong,
deeply complex beer is truly for the connoisseur. Olde Reliable gets
its rich color and flavor from loads of Pacific Northwest malt and an
especially long boil. A dose of brown sugar in the boil adds to the
unique character of this ale." 10% (refills are $7)
Also available: $7 for a pint and keeper glass.
Food:
The fruit platter, spinach salad, red roasted potatoes and lasagna are
vegetarian. Pizza will be available by the slice and you can actually
get stuff off of their menu too.
Parking:
I have enclosed a picture of the parking that is available around the
pizza place. If on street parking is not available, there is a
parking lot behind the building that is just a few bucks to park.
There is free parking around the Broadway Theater. DO NOT PARK IN THE
BANK OF AMERICA PARKING LOT NO MATTER WHAT. Towing folks cruise the
lot and they are paid on commission. You will get towed.
If the picture doesn't come through, visit my blog. I'll have it up
there.
