your points are well-reasoned.
Insert tongue firmly in cheek...Or we could simply ban
them from driving on any of our roads...Why do we have
to give them additional money when our State/Federal
tax dollars help pay for the school, roads, utilities,
etc. to which they presume to deny us usage?
Perhaps we should begin using "neighborhood passports"
which only allow certain authorized groups to access
certain facilities. It will be just like the good ol'
days in Birmingham
For some reason, this issue has really gotten stuck in
my craw...whatever that is.

it to turn the race into a fundraiser. I believe
the school on the right is a elementary or middle
school. They must have some type of after-
school or breakfast program that could use additional
funds/resources. Very much like Columbia
Plateau. I would imagine that if someone
approached the school and explained that they would
receive some of the proceeds, you would be able to
generate support from within the community in a couple
of ways. </DIV>
<DIV>1. Their community would benefit
financially. We could also find out
what the school needs in the form of school
supplies. Bring school supplies, get a
reduced entry fee. Very much like donating food
at PIR. Or as part of the Entry Fee, you could
make an additional donation of a $1 to the
school. </DIV>
<DIV>2. Get the young juniors involved from the
community. Have a real short race for the young
kids. Let the parents see the
excitement on the kids faces. Then let the kid
nag the parents until the race happens again the
following year.

from the school. </DIV>

explain that the intent of this race it to benefit the
