Easiest solution I've found is to let "dirty grimy bike" ride shotgun
while clean wife rides in back with the luggage. The only cost is a
quality set of earplugs, often under $10.

I am heading out on a vacation to the coast next week and the weather is
lookig to be quite nice. Our vehicle doesnt have a bike rack though and
my wife doenst want a 'dirty, grimy bike' in the back of the car witht
he luggage. Does anyone have a soft travel case I can borrow for a week?
