Quick question for anyone who considers themselves a tech geek:
I just built up my first computer system from the ground up and I was wondering what your thoughts were regarding RAID configurations. I had thought about doing Raid 1 (Disk Mirroring), but wondered if that is a waste of time and should just by the extra HDD and do a RAID 5 setup. What are your thoughts?

Or, should I forget about it and just use the 2 HDD's that I have now and double my storage capacity as they would be 2 separate drives?

Last question: If I do go RAID, does anyone have experience setting it up in Windows XP MCE? I did not buy a physical RAID card figuring that my motherboard could handle it. However, I do have a RAID card that is about 4 years old. New and unused. Would that still work if necessary?
