I'm posting this because this thread comes up fairly often.
There's a dry cleaners by my house that does very good
clothing/zipper repair that is quite cheap (compared to the place that
people love to talk about on this list mtn something...???).
The name of the cleaners is Harmony Cleaners. It's located at
the corner of Harmony Rd and Linwood Ave next to the 711.

He's replaced two zippers for me, one in my team vest ($23
bucks), and one in my team winter jacket ($24 bucks) as compared to that
brand X place which charges about $65 bucks for like repairs. Turn
around on these two items was about two days compared to about two weeks
at brand X mtn whatever.
Both zippers are quite heavy dute looking and they match my kit.
He's also repaired a knee warmer for me that I snagged on my rear fender
flap and ripped. Good solid work.
