The Cherry Pie Road Race is coming up and I'd like to invite everybody and anybody that has an interest in tandem racing to come join Amy and I in the tandem class. We did it last year with 7 other teams and despite getting spanked - we loved it.

The course is beautiful and mostly flat - with a few rollers and an uphill finish to keep it exciting. Yeah, it's early in the year but the tandems only do one lap - 27 miles.

What? You say you haven't been riding much lately? That's the point - none of us have. So come out and get in some fast and fun miles on your geek bike. The tandem class is made up of the most social and safe people that you've ever lined up next to. If you have a significant other, friend, or kid that you'd like to introduce to road racing - this is a fun way to do it.

Amy and I have registered on-line and would love to see you line up next to us. Cost for a tandem team is a reasonable $30.
