What I find interesting is there is no news story about the accident. I tried to search and find out about the actual "accident" but google only has this one about her being sentenced. Killing him did not even make the news.

the sentence was just a year short of what the judge could legally give
her if I remember.
its not the judge...it's the restrictions of the sentencing guidelines
for her particular charge.

felt 10
1/2 years was appropriate. Whaaat!?!? A prior DUI, killing someone

drunk driving and 10 1/2 yrs is all she gets?!
Why kill someone with a gun and get life when you can get drunk and
drive
into them and get between 4 and 10 years.

Yes, she is a outstanding example of an ignorant and inhumane drunk but
at least we won't have to worry about seeing her out on the roads for
the next 10 years.
