Cyclists everywhere rejoice! For the River City Bicycles Cyclocross Crusade
Series is nearly upon us.
River City Bicycles has stepped forward to become the title sponsor this
year and the series' prize list has doubled to $10,000 (Quite possibly THE
richest cyclocross series in the country).
Beyond River City Bicycles, we would like to thank MacTarnahans Ale,
Humbertson Auto Group, and Sellwood Cycle Repair which have all been of
great support in making this the best 'cross season to date.
Kick-Off Party for the 2001 River City Cyclocross Crusade:

Saturday, Sept. 22 @ 6pm- FREE
Fun times, wild 'cross stories, free snacks and bevies- a great way to
launch the 2001 'Cross Season.

5k x-country (running) races come to the Cyclocross Crusade this year:
The Cyclocross Crusade has teamed up with Team Red Lizard
(www.bigredlizard.com) to bring you x-country running. That's right, a 5k
x-country running race will be held every race day at 10am prior to the
first 'cross race of the day. The entry fee is a nominal $8 (advanced) or
$10 (day of race)- there is no better way to warm up for your event. The Red
Lizards will be providing their own registration, prize lists, and so on for
the running events. For more information, please go to www.bigredlizard.com
