Has anyone gone up to the shotgun area? I will be over there in 2 weeks and will be looking for a ride.

Don? Mike? Are you guys getting this?

It sounds like a decent reason to start a Summer XC series in Central Oregon. 2 races a month, maybe? I can't speak for everyone else, but If there were races in the Bend area on a few Sundays, I'd be there. I actually do miss the Dustslinger.

Hi All

I did a rough count of the results for Summer races(July-Sept) and I think you will agree they are low.

July -State Games 70 racers
Sept- Hood Finals 95 racers
Sept- Diamond Lake 42 racers
August -12/24 Hour was down close to 70% of what it was the first two years and back then it was only a 12 Hour.
Only one person from Oregon Celia from Bend raced the 24 Hour, the rest were from Cali, Seattle, Boise and Reno.
If it wasn't for Bend racers there would have been more out of state racers in the 12 hour too, I would say 1/2 the racers or more were from Bend and mostly from Sunnyside Sports.

Take Care

Randy Dreiling
