Hey everyone,

Just a few quick notes...

Registration is open and we've got about 50 folks signed up so far!

Check out the website for more info:
http://www.willamettevalleycycling.com/cherry_pie/cherry_pie.html

You may also register online. Link is at the URL above.

We were out on the course this weekend putting up signs and looking for pot holes. The roads look good, and we're hoping for a repeat of last year's weather.

Registration will be indoors across from Adair County Park. We have permission to park in the Park parking lot, same as last year. You may also park at the high school and along Ryals/Arnold. Please avoid driveways and the church parking lot.

Thanks and we'll see you in a few weeks!

Did it ever occur to you that your grumping may have pushed them over the edge? Face it... it was you that tipped it over the tipping point. I think you should give up all CO2 emissions before you do the same with the planet.

I suppose that this doesn't necessarily mean doom, but when the parent
company of "brands" such as Pacific (dept. store clunkers), Schwinn and
GT (oh, how the mighty hath fallen) buys up a company like Cannondale...
it give me pause. Hopefully I'm not hearing the splashing of
Cannondale's shark jumping.

As much as I've grumped about the Headshok lately, I really do like my
Cannondales (I have three) and would hate to see the company neutered
and turned into a ghost of itself similar to the fate the befell Schwinn
and GT.

You're absolutely right, Jay. After just a couple of seconds' soul
searching I've realized that it was my criticisms that sent the company
into a spiraling depression.

As for those CO2 emissions? I do suppose I should cut back on the
bean-n-cheese super fatty burritos.

Share and enjoy.

I do not think going into the "Motorcycle" business helped them in any
manner. Good luck with your headshock. I still think the best part of the
headshock was the neat logo of the dudewith the huge forehead and their
thoughtful merchandise produced when they were in with Sobe. I still
believe the best thing they produced was the Lefty. But hey, I have not
owned a Cannondale for about two years and survived just fine. They
probably will produce a bunch of low end stuff and sell them in the very
places you suspect (Kmart etc) but still make some pretty good bikes.
Quality is one thing and stock growth is yet another. If push comes to
shove we know which one wins.
just my two shares worth.

Folks,

Here is the pricing for extra sets of 2008 cloth road numbers:
(To be clear- when I mean extra sets of numbers, it means copies of
the number you have already been assigned)

$10 for one number
$15 for two numbers
$20 for two customized numbers

For the customized numbers, you can put your name, nickname or team
name on there. We reserve the right to reject any text that could be
construed as offensive. (Since OBRA and River City are on the numbers)

We are also offering a 12x18 poster that has all the updated dates for
events for sale. These are $10 a piece.

All prices include shipping.

Two ways to order:

Send me an e-mail and I will send you an invoice via google checkout.
We can also make special arrangements if you wish to pay via paypal
(non-credit card) Or you can send a check to the address below made
out to OBRA for the required amount.

OBRA Attn: Orders
PO Box 16355
Portland, OR 97292

I'll need the following information in your e-mail or letter:

Your name
E-mail address
Mailing Address
Your road number
Your selection of what you would like to order
Quantity of each

If you choose custom, I will need your text.
(Try to keep it short, we've been able to put 16 characters on one but
it gets unreadable with more letters)

Thanks!
