I rode out past Vancouver Lake and did the entire course today. Aside from the slightly rough pavement by the lake, it's very smooth. There are a couple potholes right at the turnaround, though. There's some sand deposited on the shoulder south of the lake (they've been dredging the slough, I think), but it's not on the actual course. It may affect people warming up, though.
The weather was marvelous for riding today- just a hint of wind from the north to hurry up the return run. I hope it's as nice on the 24th!
