We will be doing practice sessions on Wednesday. On Thursdays we will be

having races. Last week the turn out for the practice session was great

with several people there that had never done hand slings. The turn out for

Thursday was a bit disappointing. We need more people to show up. There

are only a few weeks of racing left at the track and then long months with

no racing that doesn't involve getting all muddy while jumping off a

perfectly good bicycle.   Hope to see you there.

There are 2 remaining evenings of track racing at Alpenrose, the last

Thursdays of September this week, 9/20 and next week, 9/27. Due to the

limited available light the programs are short. We will do just a single

race, as long a Madison as the light allows. I want to encourage as many

people as possible to come out and ride. We need experienced Madison riders

to help introduce the inexperienced riders to what I think is the most

interesting and exciting form of bike racing. Hope to see you there.
