A link has been posted on bikeportland.org, regarding the bike thief.

As the posting says, "judge for yourself"

I'm still too angry that the bike was stolen in the first place to comment further.

word!

Let me know when, who to donate my portion to.

There's drawbacks, and benefits of all those options.
1. Would be great, but I think that the publicity would be beneficial not
only to OBRA as a community, but to others and perhaps to inspire others.
2. Seems like the best option -- I prefer it. But has the same potential
drawback as option 3.
3. Potentially encourages people to try and milk sympathy out of others.

I'm in favor of options 2&3, but I will defer to the majority.

I don't have the floor pump anymore. I looked all over, but I don't know
where it went to. I still have a slightly used frame pump, that attaches
below the bottle cages. It will reach 110psi, but it's a shorty so it woudl
take forever.

Well said Scott...what harm can come from helping someone who is down on his
luck ? we're not giving him a hand-out, we're giving him a hand-up and what
better way to do so than with a symbol of what we all believe in...a bike.
