Hi Everyone
My friend's 5 yr old daughter was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid
Leukemia and is in desperate need of a Bone Marrow Transplant. This has
inspired me to host a Bone Marrow Registration Drive *this weekend* in an
attempt to find a matching donor for Isabella as well as other children
afflicted with Leukemia. This event is run by the National Marrow Donor
Program (NMDP). Your participation can make a difference and it could save
someone's life.

Saturday Feb 23rd 4-9PM and Sunday Feb 24th 9:30 AM 2:30 PM
Registration is very easy, they swab the inside of your mouth with sterile
Q-Tips and you fill out some forms, that's it the whole process take about
20 minutes. Location and times for the Registration drive are shown below.
To join the registry you only need to meet the following criteria (set by
NMDP)
- Be between the ages of 18-60
- Be willing to donate to patients in need
- Meet the health guidelines set by NMDP (go to www.marrow.org for
more info)
- A donation of $25 or more toward the cost of testing is requested
(if you can not afford this but would still like to join the registry please
talk to me)
