Hello OBRA-land,
Portland State University Cycling team is hosting a collegiate racing
weekend this April 5th and 6th. Collegiate racers from around the Pacific
Northwest will be coming to Portland the evening of Friday, April 4th, in
order to compete on Saturday and Sunday.
PSU students will be staying in their own houses, of course. Some of the
racers from other teams will be able to find space with us, but the teams
are big, and we are looking for extra space.
This is a shout out to any Portland-ers willing to host a few out-of-state
collegiate racers.
Please let me know if you or anyone you know (or any organization you are
affiliated with - a church, boy's and girls club, etc...) can host people
from the other teams on the nights of Friday, April 4th, and Saturday, April
5th. If you have a spare bed or futon, great. Just a big floor space
works, too. Space for bikes is also a plus! Here's the info I need if you
can host:
-Your name.
-Your phone number.
-The address of the space, so I can tell people where to show up.
-How many people can you host?
-Are there beds or floor space or both?
-What sort of facilities will be available to the racers (will they be able
to use the kitchen, is there a microwave, garage for bikes, etc)?
Thanks in advance!
