Cyclists,
If you're not racing this Sunday, come out and join us on a fun group ride on the beautiful, low-traffic, country roads north and west of Hillsboro this Sunday, Sept. 23.
Start time: 9:55 a.m.
Start place: West Union Elementary School, on West Union Rd. just west of Helvetia Rd. (Exit 61 north off 26).
Distance: 45 miles (or 34 miles for shorter option)
Description: flat-to-rolling for first 30 miles, then rolling-to-hilly for the last 15 miles.
Cost: Free (includes Cytomax, water, snacks, etc. in sag vehicle).
Weather: Bring your rain bike; we ride rain or shine.
Post-ride lunch spot: Helvetia Tavern
Last month we had about 25 riders on our Crown Point/Multnomah Falls ride, and it was a lot of fun!
