Here's a rare opportunity for you guys to buy up a set of fast wheels that beat you. I'm offering up my Mavic Cosmic Carbones (clincher, Shimano 8/9 compatible). Wheels have been used for timetrials and PIR and have seen moderate use (some of those timetrials have been kinda long....), come with padded wheelbags, hub tool, spoke tool, and whatever's still on them for tires/tubes. The wheels are in excellent mechanical shape. I should be able to come up with the original skewers; they've migrated to different wheelsets, so they're in the garage, somewhere...



I'm selling these only to fund the purchase of the same wheels in tubular version as part of my preparation to race RAAM next year. I've not raced clinchers this year, and probably won't again, so it's time to pass them along.



These wheels are serious timetrial weaponry - don't be left behind!



I'm probably stupid to even offer them locally, 'cause it will hurt like heck to see someone else with them <sniffle>. But - first $450 gets 'em until 10/1/1.
