Hell o' the Cascades - a Teaser

If I remember correctly (I do have a poor memory and am somewhat demented), when this was first mentioned a few months ago.... Lolo Pass over the West side of Mt. Hood was the part with the gravel section. I have not been over that pass since a tour way back in 81 (yeah I am old) and there was a section of gravel that was not bad for tourning bikes fully loaded. Your racers can rip through it unless it is loose and washboarded or maybe worse.... freshly graded so it is nice and soft and deep. Have fun!!!!!!

Sounds like my kinda of fun.

How much elevation?...Uphill.

Any hope of a Clydesdale division?

Okay, okay.I was partly kidding.sort of.

Remember the Saturn Classic in Colorado?

Think about that in Oregon.

90 miles of pavement.

6 miles of gravel. Downhill.

Choose your weapon wisely.

We'll be there for sure - sounds fun.
Weapon of choice same as Chris at the Saturn Classic (road bike) with a good durable wheel set. 404 cross with stans notubes liquid inside the tubes.
Bring on the FUN!!! :)
Cheers
