I have a friend who is looking to park his car and commute to downtown
PDX from the NE neighborhoods. He is 250lbs and new to biking so
high-end is out and bomb-proof is in. He is hoping for something with
gears for his uphill ride home that he can beat-up, hop curbs and
generally just not have to worry about. Budget is bargain basement...
between $200 and $300.
Road size 51/52, Mtn size 17in.
If you have something laying around your garage that you'd like to see
get some good use by a nice guy let me know!
