I swapped out some parts so I have a set of 8-speed stuff for your
mountain bike. Mavic Crossland wheels (non disc) with IRC Mythos XC
tires and XT cassette; SRAM 9.0 8-speed twisters with carbon composite
rear derailleur, and Avid Single Digit v-brakes. Already installed on
some cheap bars with brake levers and grips. Includes an extra XT
cassette and another set of Avid v-brakes. $100 for all of it. It all
works great, the rear derailleur is nearly new, the wheels are true and
round with only some peeling stickers.
