I was clearing the final trail today and riding and that snow wrecked the course---well I can rake it its mostly downed branches and a few tree's. OF course the super fast descent has a huge tree down worth 1,000 so I will get it out of the way or build a ramp over it-----just kidding. Anyway some details to get you readyDay Before Registration 3-5 pm at Peak Sports in CorvallisThe stairstep climb is in effect for 2008----short and painful to start out the race. Distances 12 miles beginner 1500 ft of climbing--great course for all abilities 1 small lap18 miles Sport 2300 ft of Climbing------ 1 big lap28 miles Pro women and expert women 1 big and 1 small lap 3800 ft of climbing32 miles Pro men, semi-pro men and all expert men including Junior Experts (remember this class is back) 4200 ft of climbingSinglespeed one big lapRaffle---of courseBike Toss---maybeKids race---yesCustom awards for top 3 in each of the 20 classesDownload the form---save money---carpool, free soup and bread by Great Harvest.register early----I will not cash your checks until the week before the race Special for all participantsOregon Velo will be shooting the race and you can get a free digital pic of you at the Mudslinger compliments of Mudslinger Events and oregonvelo.com as a memory--muddy oneremember the mud sprays-----grease up that downtube--strap on that fender and I will see you soonMike RipleyMudslinger Events
