Hi Everyone,

As you can see from the subject line, Hank has been adopted. Last night, a
lady by the name of Jan came to visit Hank around 7pm and they hit it off.
It seems Hank will be moving in with Jan's Mom who lives on the Willamette.
She said they have had 2 labs prior to Hank and they got to swim and play to
their hearts content. It sounds like Hank is going to be living a very good
life considering his rough start of the past year and change. Hank moves in
with his new family on Saturday.

I know I have said this before when I have requested help on a topic or two
from the Obra list, and I have always meant it when I said it, but the OBRA
list is a truly unique place with some amazing people. The amount of
requests that I got for pictures and information on Hank was truly awesome
and it all happened within 24 hours! Thank you to each and every person who
responded about Hank and thank you to everyone else who let Hank's plight
touch their heart in some way. I know some people had situations where Hank
would not have been a good fit and others were just concerned about his well
being. I consider myself a very lucky individual to have been able to cross
paths with all of you.

Who knows what the future will bring and in some way, shape, or form, the
roles will be reversed. However, when that time comes, I am glad to know the
people on the OBRA list (that's all of you) will be there to help whoever is
in need.

I'm getting choked up as I write this and I am not making much sense
anymore.
