Hey,

The #1 question is------drum roll and asked by a good dozen over the last
week

Stickers on annual plates

Beginners---no sticker
Single speed-----green
Sport ---------------Blue
Expert -------------Yellow
Pro and Semi-pro -Red

When you race singlespeed place one green sticker in the box specified and
when you race your geared class use that sticker and remove the Green
singlespeed sticker. This way we do not have to keep sending new plates out
when you change class.

Speaking of changing classes

If you do it and just grab a sticker and do not get it changed on the
registration you will be ________ fill in the blank

So if you are upgrading yourself through expert (which you can do) please
make the change with registration and on your particular start sheet before
the race and get a new sticker.

Another item

All temp plates are last years annual material (a little more brittle) and
could be clipped off at the finish line by the finish line people (a
suggestion) or turned in. All of these numbers are 3000 or higher in
sequence and the race director will keep these year to year to avoid buying
more temp numbers and waisting money and producing plastic. If you see one
of these riding around or on top of a car after the race help a person out
and ask them to clip it off.

We will be having stickers and annual plates at Hornings and Mudslinger
only. Please do not send in for an annual plate to OBRA this week if you
are racing Hornings and just buy it at Hornings from Clif McCann as he will
be selling them. The less people who say my plate is in the mail the better
and if for some reason this is the case we will have the latest database to
check this and give you a temp number for the day at no cost.

I am very pleased to announce that Hornings Hustle is the 1st race of the
Rivercity Oregon Xc Classics series. Info and updates can be found at
oregonxcseries.org
20 categories for each race and best 5 of 8 results for your overall
placing. Junior Expert is back as a category this season---lets keep junior
racing strong. Jacob----you can stay semi-pro

This year we have 3 team trophies for the top 3 teams with Capitol Subaru
defending the Title
Points go through 23rd place and we have custom champion jerseys from Primal
Wear for each of the 20 categories and plaques for the top 3 in each to be
handed out at Picketts Charge on June 22nd.

Do not be late to Hornings please----this will be the first mtb season
opener that I will miss ever---well at least 17 years (sad I am, but I will
keep busy with Willamette) *so tear it up and have some fun.
