In my retro-gouchiness I have over the last few years I have first shed my full suspension ride to have a front suspended 29er. Then I went to a fully-rigid 29er. Now I have gone over the edge so that my sole mtb is a rigid 29er singlespeed. A hell of a fun ride but probably not the best racing machine. Anyone out there doing Hornings with just one gear? Am I crazy to consider it?
