So are they using Egg-Beater pedals for these set-ups? We could have a
BBQ after the whole thing, podium chicken's live to race again, the
rest, well.... get a hot bath....

Oh, I guess the secret is out. Some of us have been thinking there is
maybe a cruelty-free alternative to chicken fighting, which has lately
plagued the Willamette Valley. See, we think there could be
chicken-RACING on the infield at Alpenrose. Sort of a track within a
track, see? All we'd need to do is set up a little moving worm that
could run around in circles, like the mechanical rabbits they use for
greyhounds....and presto !

Mike, how'd you like to be the honorary commissioner of chicken racing?

---Just kidding !!!!

Maybe those chickens are hip to an old Santini slogan,
"You don't have to be fast to look fast"

David "ba-rokk!"

The compact chicken coop will never catch on. It's just a fad to keep chicken farmers on the "buy the newest and most fangled" bandwagon, and of course it brings with it new incompatibility issues. You do realize that you can't put a standard chicken in a compact coop, right? And who wants the resulting itty bitty eggs?

I'm keeping my standard chicken coop, thanks. In fact, I'm shocked that Sasha got involved in this; I thought he was more of a traditionalist.
