Mt. Hood Cycling Classic

Good Morning OBRA!

We are fast approaching this year's Mt. Hood Cycling Classic and we have a tremendous event lined up for 2008. We currently have 19 Pro/Elite men's teams committed for this years event and 16 women's teams! Plus we have a number of our Oregon pros coming home to do the race such as Evan Elken, Doug O, Ryan Trebon, Barry Wicks, etc. It is going to be awesome. We are in the process of lining up volunteers for this year's event and have a number of different positions available throughout the race. If you are interested in being up close and interacting with these tremendous athletes as well as getting cool race swag then consider coming out and volunteering. We are looking for the following positions in Portland May 13th and 14th.

Construction Crew
Course Setup
Parking Attendant
Kid's Race Volunteer (May 13)
Registration
Crowd Control
USADA Monitors
Flaggers

In Hood River and the Gorge May 15-18th we are looking for these same positions as well as caravan drivers and moto marshals. Ever wanted to ride in a pro peloton and not have to pedal? Here is your chance!
