Looking for recommendations for a bike computer. Originally I was
thinking about a computer that measures altitude gained on a ride in
addition to distance. I read the Avocet 50 was the most reliable of the
moderately paced model. I also read that they are no longer made . . . .
So now I'm looking for a simple wireless computer that turns on and off
auomatically, tracks speed and distance (odometer, trip distance)
Meters I've had in the past have acted unreliably over time, (Screen
fade, electrical contact unreliable, ) I'm a little scared of the
reliablitiy of wireless. Any favorites?
