The snow is still lingering on our connector road, so we will be using
our alternate course this year. Here are more details to help people
prepare for the race:

Pro, semi-pro, expert: 23 miles, 4300-4500 feet of climbing:
Climb out of the park, up the left side of 2060 (Ashland Loop Road) to
four corners. (about 7 miles) travel down the single track to the BTI
intersection. Use the bottom of Alice in Wonderland to connect back to
the Loop Road. Climb back up the Loop Road to four corners. (about 4
miles)
Then take single track back down to the top of the park and then take
the road back down to the finish.

Sport, Single-speed: 19 miles, 3500-3700 feet of climbing:
Climb out of the park, up the left side of 2060 (Ashland Loop Road) to
four corners. (about 7 miles) travel down the single track to the BTI
intersection. Use the bottom of Alice in Wonderland to connect back to
the Loop Road. Climb back up the loop road to Toothpick (about 2
miles). Turn right on to Caterpillar and take the trails back down to
the finish.

Beginner course: exactly the same

It looks like the weather will be nice and there are tons of people
registered for both days. Our website also has more information and I
am happy to answer any questions. www.somba.org/springthaw
