Sorella Forte will be presenting a Specialized Bikes demo at River City over Memorial Day weekend. Preliminary info below. This will be a fun opportunity for women new to riding and experienced cyclists to check out Specialized’s women-specific bikes. Saturday is for beginners, Sunday will be more “geared” for experienced riders (bad pun, sorry). Now's your chance to test ride an sub-15lb S-Works Ruby beyond the bike shop parking lot!

Saturday, May 24th: Free Beginner’s Clinic and Fun Ride (clinic at 10:15, ride at noon). Learn basic DIY maintenance, bike parts identification and other fun stuff to get better acquainted with your bike. Then join Sorella Forte team members for an hour cruise around Portland. Demo a sweet new Specialized women’s bike (as supplies allow), or ride your own. All abilities welcome. This is a casual, social ride to introduce new riders to women-specific bikes.

Sunday, May 26th: Free mountain and Road bike demos from noon – 5pm. Sunday will be another day to test out women-specific bikes from Specialized, but without the beginner’s clinic. Choose from feather-light carbon road racers to buttery-smooth full-suspension mountain bikes. Sorella Forte team members will escort small groups to Mt. Tabor to provide a realistic test of the equipment. Good hills and descents for the roadies, and nice trails for the mountain bikers. “Tours” leaving roughly each hour, starting at 1pm. Be prepared to ride about 12 miles. Unlike Saturday, these tours are not recommended for true beginners.

Meet us in the parking lot. Look for the Specialized Demo van and tents, you can’t miss us. Rain or shine, we’ll be there! Help us spread the word.
