I have been inspired by Cobra kai to change my name. I have had this run of the mill Jim name long enough. Cobra Kai, that is cool, kind of like The Duke, Dirty Harry, or even Deuce Bigalow.

The speaking in third person thing first stimulated me to consider something like Prince did and change my name to The Rider Formerly Known as Jim. I started to look through the Wingding fonts for something cool to use. However, I'm a PC guy and I am concerned that my symbol might be something dull or weird on a Mac, or maybe Vista wouldn't support my symbol. What if the finish line folks couldn't make out my symbol as I flashed by and just made up their own symbol like A$$#@&E?

So I'm going to follow the path of the Cobra. I want a name that is Hip and Big. I'd like your input what you think about Eli HippO?

Who wouldn't pause for a moment in a sprint if I yelled out: "Look out for the HippO!" I could get people to join the HippO lead out train. Or, if I get blown out the back after one mile, I can just say: "legs not up for the HippO".

Let me know what you think. There could be a lot of potential here.

I think the beauty of Cobra Kai's name is that he is pulling an old 80's name out of the bag and causing many of us to have flashbacks to days of big hair, shoulder pads, and the Rubik's cube.
With that in mind, I submit to you: DRAGO! And don't forget his inspiring words "I must break you".

Use it as you will, but use it wisely.

Remember, no true nickname is self-conceived. It has to be anointed. Of course this takes a bit of the control out of it.

Remember how Marco Pantani loved the 'Il Pirata' moniker, although it was largely self given. I believe the rest of the peloton dubbed him something like "Elephentino" or 'the little elephant'.

How about "Colt Seavers". Works for Cross and MTB. Maybe not so good for
PIR.

I have been inspired by Cobra kai to change my name. I have had this run of
the mill Jim name long enough. Cobra Kai, that is cool, kind of like The
Duke, Dirty Harry, or even Deuce Bigalow.

The speaking in third person thing first stimulated me to consider something
like Prince did and change my name to The Rider Formerly Known as Jim. I
started to look through the Wingding fonts for something cool to use.
However, I'm a PC guy and I am concerned that my symbol might be something
dull or weird on a Mac, or maybe Vista wouldn't support my symbol. What if
the finish line folks couldn't make out my symbol as I flashed by and just
made up their own symbol like A$$#@&E?

So I'm going to follow the path of the Cobra. I want a name that is Hip and
Big. I'd like your input what you think about Eli HippO?

Who wouldn't pause for a moment in a sprint if I yelled out: "Look out for
the HippO!" I could get people to join the HippO lead out train. Or, if I
get blown out the back after one mile, I can just say: "legs not up for the
HippO".

Let me know what you think. There could be a lot of potential here.
