The WebCyclery Cascade ChainBreaker MTB Race is this Sunday!

The course is snow-free, and because Spring has only just now arrived here in Bend it shouldn't be too dusty. Conditions may be just about perfect.

This has been one of the biggest races in Oregon and we pride ourselves on making it a great one. Last year the Pro field saw Bend locals Adam Craig and Carl Decker show up to race. Ryan Trebon was in the shop last week and suggested that we may have an even bigger Pro turnout for this years race. We'll see.

You can easily sign up at WebCyclery.com, or for those of you that like to be spontaneous you can sign up the morning of the race at the course.

All the details of the race are posted at WebCyclery.com. Remember that we'll have a free kids race during the day so for those of you that would like to make a family Mothers Day event out of coming to Bend - we'll do our best to make it worth the trip.

Deschutes and Coke are one of the many sponsors this year and we'll have free Deschutes Brewery beer (and Coke) for everybody afterwards. Oh, and some killer prizes!

I have been getting some requests for carpooling partners so I encourage you to post on the OBRA site for a ride needed or offered. Chances are good there's somebody near you that's thinking about coming over as well.

See you Sunday! Amy and I will be racing on the tandem again.
