Someone who has raced for years is not a novice. If they are placing
well consistently they are sandbagging. I don't know the specifics
about the latest two.
Unfortunately, one of the only ways to discourage the practice is for
someone to publicly call a sandbagger out.
I suspect that Candi and Kenji don't have the time or the inclination
to police the categories. Perhaps if there was a computer program...
Categories are helpful in keeping racers encouraged and improving.
Sandbagging detracts from that.
I'm looking forward to watching the crit at Mt. Tabor tomorrow. Try
not to miss it!
