Masters Women at Albany Crit

The intent of the race organizer is to survey both groups. In the Cat 4
Women if there is enough masters at Cat 4, then he will score them
separately. In the women 1/2/3 field he will once again survey the field
and if enough, ask the judges to score them separately. Women should ride
their category.
Does that help?

If there are enough 40+ women preregistered, we could add a Women's Masters category race. If on the day there are enough 40+ women in either women's race, we can score that age group separately, as we are doing for the men's masters.

So get the word out, and we'll do our best to make the women masters happy. We are offering a separate Cat 4 group to encourage novice women.

I plan on writing a brief article for the local paper telling the Albanians what to expect when watching a criterium. I would really like to mention the growing womens groups, especially the masters! I think it would be very motivational for women in general to see fit middle aged women duking it out in the streets. As a physician I look for examples for my unfit patients who are contemplating the possible.

I hope to see you there.
