Hey,

Yes it will rain the next three days or should I stop while I am ahead.
Thanks to those who made it to Bear Springs and the excellent singletrack
and epic rivers flowing through the trails and partially submerged bridges.
It felt great to be back on my bike again.

Next up on June 1st is the Fall City Firecracker stop # 6 out of 8 races in
teh Rivercity Oregon Xc Series. Kevin has a new course rumor has it and I
look forward to the great Blackrock Singletrack and lots of Fun.

The Test Of Endurance is just under 4 weeks away and I came across a Hunting
trail on a ridge that goes quite aways and lt looks as if I will be
eliminating the big road section and making this course have even more
singletrack than ever before.

*Some details*

Yes its 50 miles and 7500 ft
All categories race this distance
2 super well stocked aide stations per 25 mile lap with Great Harvest Bread,
Awesome Organic Peanut Butter and Jam and Those red Potatoes at each aide
station along with tons of electrolytes and water to keep you on your way.
1250.00 overall and Team cash Purse
Singlespeed open, singlespeed 40+ and women singlespeed will compete for
custom awards
Custom Medals (like the Mudslinger ones)
Finisher Pint glasses
Gear drop in gym by 8am for aide #1 or aide #2
5 minutes of Massage per entrant-----use it pre-race or post race and add as
much extra time as you want (Century Sports massage takes cards)
Big Black Bean Burritos after the event
Water Truck for hosing down the bikes and a Band the day of race (Thats the
plan)

If you register by 6/5 then you will get your name and team name on your
plates

Enter as a team and save money (must have matching jerseys) for open team
and Master Team Competition
6 people per team and the top 4 fastest count as your team time.

Special prizes for 2 person teams Coed 2 person team and new for 2008 2-man
and 2-women ( do not have to have the same jerseys)-----just note on your
entry form or enter together and I will get you marked down for both your
solo competition and the side competition for combined overall time for your
2 person team

issued your 2007 overall finish number if you register by 6/5.

*Will some one take down Team S & M ? Will Erik Race and and represent the
OLD Guys of S & M. Do the young guns have what it takes. Will people be
poaching riders from other teams to try to beat S & M and get the 500.00
from them? Will the course record be shattered?
