Alice Pennington captured a third place finish in yesterday's(Saturday's)

grueling cross country race. Racers were greeted with cold, wet conditions

involving a mix of snow and mud. Barry Wicks took tenth place in the men's

cross country followed by OSU teammate Doug Ollerenshaw in 36th. Timmy

Evens broke his chain and was unable to finish.

   This year marks the strongest showing ever for OSU at the Collegiate

National Mountain Bike Championships. Alice placed 1st in the Short Track

and third in the cross country proving her dominance on the national level!

Barry had a strong weekend as well with his 4th place in the short track

followed by his tenth in the XC!
