My deepest thanks to those who assisted me after my

crash today at Johnson Farm. My short term memory

was shaken loose for a few hours after the crash, so I

don't remember anyone's name. Trying to knock over a

fir tree with your head will do that to you.



Nonetheless. To the people who assisted me medically

at the start line. Thank you. To the person or

persons who managed to get me and my bike from the

crash to the start line. Thank you. To the person

who put my bike and helmet in my car and brought my

wallet back to me for my trip to the ER. Thank you.

Thanks also to the person in the red Toyota Forerunner

drove me to the hospital and waited for me there until

he was assured that my wife was on her way.



I didn't hit hard enough to have any sense knocked

into me, so I'll probably be there next week. Mild

concussion, sprained thumb and very sore neck. It

could have been much worse.



If anyone can supply me with the names of those who

gave me the assists, I'd like to thank them directly.
