test me

Eric,

I suggest you check your math and units. If you climbed 3000 vertical

feet (approximately 900 meters) and you did it in 30 minutes (which would be

incredibly fast) and you weigh 160 pounds your average power output using

Vaughters method would be:

((900*160/2.2)/1800)*10 = 364 m.kg/sec or Watts

I think you either climber a really big mountain really fast or your

calculator batteries are going dead. Check your math again and your units.

Make sure you convert hours:min:sec to just seconds and your weight to kg.

Approximately 2.2 kg/lbs. Your number should look much better.

I am interested in doing a "wingate power test". vo2max, watts, lactic

thresholds all that kind of good stuff. anyone ever do one before? is it

worth it? where can I try one out in Eugene? if you are going to reply with

the Cyclesport Jonathan Vaughters method I will share that he missed one

thing in his "formula". if you multiply your ((meters climbed * bike/body

mass)/time) by 10 as he suggests?..well let's just say my watt produced was

20,499 watts??right! you have to divide by ten.

eric

one other thing. when was the last time a eugene rider won the tour of

willamette? 1,2 or 3,master or women? Trivia Cambell you got this one?
