Fischer, Jim E (Corvallis)
Hey folks,
I wanted to share a little more info about the course, categories and the fun that is the Team TT.
1.) If you are allegic to bees, bring your epi pin or whatever you use. There are no bee boxes adjacent to the course (or in the road, for that matter), but they are located in the "warm up" stretch of road just west of the parking area along Tangent Drive. I rode through it last night and tried to close every orifice to avoid an encounter with the swarm crossing the road. TT helmet with closed vents is a plus.
2.) We're racing in the Valley right in the middle of rye grass central. If you have grass allergies, bring your potions to calm the itchy eyes, sneezing and all the other great symptoms we suffer so folks can have green grass around the world.
3.) The streets were swept by the county. Two of our guys are going out Friday AM to PRESSURE WASH the course with a water truck (graciously donated, yet again, by the folks who own the seed warehouse where we stage). Last night, there was hardly a pebble on the course...very sweet for the cornering and the going fast. ;-) There is no wheel pit.
4.) Please check in before your race! We need to confirm your information, get your signature on the waiver and make sure your number is correct. Start times may shift slightly, so please check in when you arrive.
5.) There is no race-day registration, but you may register online until Friday afternoon.

6.) Please bring 4 of your number...one for each team member. Make sure we have it recorded correctly at check-in.
Regards,
