Looks like the German-built Yuba Mundo cargo bicycle has finally hit
Portland. Check it out online at http://www.stumptownmundo.com. It's
essentially a serious long-tail utility bike with a super-duty steel frame.
It's supposedly got the highest cargo capacity of any long-tail utility
bike, but appears to be best at carrying oversized/awkward loads. I'm not
sure anyone really wants to carry 440 pounds of cargo. Aside from cargo
capacity, I think the biggest selling point is the price: less than $1,000
fully built with fenders and a Hebie two-point kick-stand.
