Subject: [OBRA Chat] TTT almost crash
For those of you that thought time trial bikes couldn't fly, River
City/Specialized disproved that theory in style yesterday.
Instead of following us through the broad turn about halfway out on the
course, Tim Schauer went straight, levitated above the wheat field for about
3 seconds and, like Wile e. Coyote, dropped straight down to the agriculture
below.
Thanks to his years of cyclocross, he managed to stay upright and eventually
get back on the road, shaken but not stirred.
Even though it cost us about a minute, it was fun to watch!
